Location

The Port of Willapa Harbor is situated at the north end of Pacific County in Southwest Washington State. The county’s 908 square miles of mostly undeveloped timber land and shoreline are bordered by the Pacific Ocean on the west, the Columbia River on the south, and neighboring counties of Grays Harbor (north), Lewis, and Wahkiakum (east).

Main offices, primary dock facilities, and industrial parks are adjacent to the Willapa River and Pacific Coast Highway 101 in the city limits of Raymond with a population of approximately 3000. It is 25 miles south of Aberdeen or Grays Harbor, 55 miles west of Chehalis on Interstate 5, and 45 miles north of Astoria, Oregon, on the Columbia River. The closest neighboring community is South Bend, with a population of 1670, just three miles South on Highway 101. The Port also operates an airport 5 miles west of Raymond, plus marinas in the communities of Tokeland and Bay Center on Willapa Bay.
